This is a seasonal, non-union position. This position works 30-40 hours per week during the summer season, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.


POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for operations of the outdoor concessions stand and creates a fun, engaging environment for members and visitors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Takes food and beverage orders and serves food and beverages.
• Greets guests, ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
• Provides continuous cleaning and sanitation of all food production areas.
• Ensures the quality of food is fresh and properly prepared.
• Works cash register and performs opening and closing operations.
• Properly uses all machinery and equipment.
• Answers questions from guests and offers suggestions when appropriate.
• Handles guest complaints in a business-like manner.
• Greets customers in a professional and courteous way.
• Enforces facility policies and procedures.
• Interacts with attendees to encourage proper use of all facilities.
• Monitors behavior of members and visitors to ensure all are having a safe and enjoyable time.
• Works at the top of the water slide as an attendant (only if 16 years or older).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Maintains a professional, helpful attitude at all times.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 10 pounds regularly and lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Regular, punctual in-person attendance.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to interact and be courteous to fellow employees and participants of diverse backgrounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee regularly works near hot kitchen equipment, sharp cutting equipment and moving mechanical parts.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
