Associate Director, Program Mgmt. (NSS & SSI&S)

Raytheon – Naval Systems & Sustainment (NSS) / Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment (SSI&S) is looking for an Associate Director, Program Management candidate. The position will hold Senior Program Management responsibility of both the Chesapeake Virginia and San Diego Depot Programs. This is an onsite position at our Chesapeake, VA facility. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee prioritization of efforts across the Depot by working with Program Office and Operations. Understand financial and schedule performance across all program areas. Collaborate on growth opportunities and strategy with Program Office and Operations. Lead and coordinate internal and customer site tours and visits. Partner with Site Lead on morale and team events. Lead weekly Functions meetings to review and mitigate impacts to program deliveries. Review contract delivery schedule for Depot scope. Coordinate fleet emergent requirement support. Establish strong partnership with the Chesapeake Depot Site Lead, the RTX Facility Security Officer (FSO) and local Government DCSA representative. Serve on the Chesapeake Business Resilience and Crisis Management (BRCM) Site Council Team & Incident Response Team. Serve on the Safety Committee, Emergency Response Team, and Recreation Committee Site Teams. Work with Site cross‑functional leadership Team consisting of Facilities, Security, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Operations. What You Will Learn Raytheon and RTX Business Acumen; SBU & SSBU organizational structure, responsibilities amongst the programs and the functional areas, and deliverables. Qualifications You Must Have University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, oran Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience. Prior experience leading cross‑functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Quality, Finance). Prior experience with profit and loss (P&L). Prior experience with financial management systems/tools. Experience with proposals and generating basis of estimates (BOEs). Prior leadership/management experience. PMP Certification or Program Management Level5 Certification or equivalent. Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Managed earned value (EV) programs and complex schedules, using Microsoft Project and related tools. Experience with Jira, Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE), and RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM). Proficient in Microsoft365 Office suite. Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs. Experience with business and/or program management tools or systems. Demonstrated success creating and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, internal/external customers, government representatives, and peers. Strong relationship‑building and communication skills across functions, leadership levels, and customer groups, with meticulous attention to detail and a drive for excellence. Well‑organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Strong communications skills. Benefits Salary range: $157,200 USD – $298,800 USD.
