The Role
- Partner with veterinarians to lead daily operations and a high-performing client service and technical support team
- Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and retain team members; conduct regular feedback and performance reviews
- Design schedules, manage labor and timekeeping, and align staffing to service and financial goals
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, revenue growth initiatives, and cost control
- Manage inventory, purchasing, vendor relationships, and invoice accuracy
- Maintain facility standards, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Champion an exceptional client experience and lead service recovery when needed
- Develop and refine SOPs, workflows, and hospital policies for consistency and quality
- Coordinate billing practices and charge capture; support local marketing and community outreach
- Track and maintain professional credentials and licenses for applicable team members

Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Applicable Mississippi licensure to practice, as relevant to assigned duties; ability to obtain and maintain any required state or local credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least 5 years of office or operations management, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with practice-management or scheduling systems
- Strong communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational abilities in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Comfortable working around animals and clinical materials; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; flexibility to work some weekends or holidays
- Preferred: CVPM or MHA; experience in veterinary or medical operations; strengths in analytics, budgeting, and strategic planning
