Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Scan Technologist for a weekends-only night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and NM state licensure.

Details

• Perform CT exams and x-ray procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations
• General and OB imaging experience required
• Weekends only schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating call required
• 4x10 schedules may be accommodated, though 5x8 shifts are preferred
• No floating required
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Cerner Change Healthcare PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of CT Technologist experience required
• NM state license required (license required if applicable)
• CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT registration required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA radiography program
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
• Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy required
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist following departmental protocols
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum RTO of 1 week during the assignment
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
• Not eligible for candidates who have worked at this facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years
