The Senior Manager, Technical Delivery role is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise while leading a team of Solutions Architects and Consultants. Our Senior Managers, Technical Delivery are accomplished architects who leverage their technical acumen and project delivery skills to ensure the success of our projects and customers. This is a hybrid opportunity with an expectation of three days in office. Responsibilities Manage a team of AI/ML Solutions Architects and Consultants, providing oversight of their contributions to ensure the highest quality in all aspects of project delivery. Mentor a team of Solutions Architects and Consultants, identifying strengths and growth opportunities for your team and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. Be a thought leader and stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research, tools, and industry trends, building a strategy for Services Delivery. Leverage your own technical expertise to assess the quality and value of your team’s contributions. Act as the first level of escalation management for any delivery concerns related to your team. Recruit, hire, and prepare future team members for success in their projects. Work with product and services sales teams to close growth opportunities and ensure effective execution of account and organization strategies. Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross‑team learning to ensure we are making each other the best. Work with other organizational leaders to influence our go‑to‑market strategies, leading initiatives and improvements where necessary. Maintain a 70% utilization target, owning your own strategic projects and acting in a billable oversight role where needed. Qualifications A university degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years of experience working with customers in a pre‑sales or post‑sales technical role. Minimum 5 years of people management experience, including experience mentoring, coaching, and developing teams. Minimum 5 years of experience selling or positioning services, including scoping large projects and developing delivery estimates and proposals. AI/ML experience across traditional machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, data science, and GenAI, including deep learning, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and open‑source frameworks. Demonstrable experience leading the full lifecycle of AI/ML projects from ideation to production. Extensive hands‑on experience with Python, including open‑source AI/ML libraries, and SQL. Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos. Understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, including data lakes, ETL, data warehousing, BI, and AI/ML environments. Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing. Knowledge of and experience with large‑scale database technology, such as Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, or similar technologies. Familiarity and experience with common data integration, transformation, and AI/ML tools, such as SageMaker, Jupyter Notebooks, or similar tools. Extensive hands‑on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics. Ability and flexibility to travel to work with customers on‑site up to 25% of the time. Strong candidate bonus criteria: Experience in the services organization of a product company. Experience in a leadership position executing technical projects. Industry vertical expertise, such as Media, Financial Services, Healthcare, or similar industries. Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Certification(s). Compensation & Benefits The estimated base salary range for this role is $177,000 – $232,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non‑discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
