MRI Technologist

Role Overview Performs independent MRI procedures, conducting a variety of technical tasks with sound judgment. The position requires flexibility to serve as a CT Tech when needed, with compensation aligned to the primary MRI rate. Ensures accurate imaging and maintains responsibility for designated procedures and areas. Key Responsibilities Execute MRI examinations independently, adhering to protocols and safety standards. Assist with CT scans when required, demonstrating versatility in diagnostic imaging roles. Ensure quality and accuracy of imaging procedures. Maintain responsibilities for specific areas or procedures as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Completion of formal radiologic technology training program. Washington Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire. Current BLS certification from American Heart Association. Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) with ARRT upon hire. Within one year, obtain MRI-specific registry (ARRT or ARMRIT). Minimum two years of radiologic technologist experience, including MRI; CT experience preferred.
