Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 3:1 patient ratio across all shifts; weekend coverage required every 2 weeks; 72 hours of orientation provided

Highlights:

• Progressive Care/Stepdown unit supporting a 24-bed unit with average daily census of 15 patients
• Epic EMR system experience required with minimum 1 year of documented use
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and Social Services
• 13-week assignment with extension opportunities available for qualified candidates
• Consistent 3:1 patient ratios maintained days, nights, and weekends
• Pre-assignment modules are compensated up to 16 hours

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent progressive care or stepdown nursing experience required
• Previous travel healthcare experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required
• Demonstrated experience with Epic EMR (minimum 1 year)
• Experience managing 5:1 patient ratios preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, or trauma center experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions available
• Competency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, ventilated patient care, arterial line management, and central line care
