This role supports several areas of manufacturing, including shipping, assembly and quality.Essential functions:Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sortingKitting operations of complex kitsMove product and inventory using a forklift and bin systemReport defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisorExecute and document quality inspections as requiredAssemble and repack of automotive kits based on customer specificationsComplete assigned tasks in a timely fashion, meeting or exceeding standardsFinal inspection of kits and packaging in compliance with customer specific requestsComply with corporate and OSHA safety regulationsRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years experience working in production or any combination of education and work experience.Must be able to meet all Department Productivity StandardsUnderstand and follow basic verbal and written instructionsEffectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organizationPossess basic mathematical skillsPerform basic visual quality inspections on productsUtilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform dutiesProficiency in English preferredWorking conditions/physical requirements:May be required to stand for long periods of timeMay involve some repetitive motionsMust be able to lift up to 75 poundsMay also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containersDue to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
