Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a community or acute care setting. License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Must-Have: - Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and prioritization skills. - Ability to function independently with minimal orientation. - Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. - Strong situational awareness and ability to respond to rapidly changing conditions. - Professional, reliable, and punctual attendance. - Willingness to work assigned shifts and support departmental staffing needs. Description: Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a community or acute care setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certified by the American Heart Association. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified by the American Heart Association. Demonstrated ability to safely manage high-acuity and fast-paced emergency care. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation. Ability to function independently with minimal orientation. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and prioritization skills. Consistent adherence to patient safety and documentation standards. Strong situational awareness and ability to respond to rapidly changing conditions. Flexibility to work assigned shifts and support departmental staffing needs.
