This leadership role combines hands-on support, staff supervision, mentoring, scheduling coordination, and program oversight.The ideal candidate is a dependable supervisor with strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills who can motivate staff, problem-solve effectively, and maintain compliance with agency policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Provide supervisory leadership and direction to residential direct support staffServe as the evening supervisor for assigned residential programsCoordinate daily residential operations and ensure quality care deliverySupport, mentor, and train staff using team-based leadership practicesAssist with implementation of individualized program plansPromote a positive, safe, and professional environment for individuals and staffCommunicate effectively with management, staff, families, and outside providersComplete documentation and electronic records accurately and timelyEnsure compliance with agency standards, OPWDD regulations, and safety proceduresQualificationsSuccessful candidates should possess strong supervisory experience and the ability to lead and motivate teams in a residential or human services setting.Preferred Qualifications & Skills:Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferredExperience in residential services, healthcare, human services, or developmental disabilities preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyIntermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record systemsStrong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to provide professional supervisory support during evening and weekend operationsMake Your MoveIf you are ready to grow your leadership career and become part of an organization that values compassion, teamwork, and professional development, apply today!Join The Arc Chemung-Schuyler and lead with purpose as a Residential Team Leader / Evening Supervisor.
