Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Insurance Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience advising clients on corporate insurance matters, including placements and claim management for Directors & Officers insurance, representations & warranties insurance, and cyber liability. Experience with commercial contract indemnification, D&O advancement, indemnification issues, corporate/M&A disputes, and securities litigation is advantageous. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation. Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts. Manage complex cases from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative strategies. Participate in high-level legal activities such as trials and negotiations. Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Engage in professional development and community involvement. Requirements 3-6 years of relevant experience in an AmLaw 100 firm. Admitted to practice in the state of the office location. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Education JD degree from an accredited law school.
