Salary: $19-20/hr Start Pay
Southern Cast Products is a leading innovator in the design and manufacturing industry, specializing in intricate foundry patterns and machined components as well as prototype solutions. With a commitment to precision and craftsmanship, we make sure each project reflects the highest standards of quality and functionality.
We're looking for a motivated Entry-Level CNC Machinist to join our team no prior CNC experience required but it is preferred. You'll train under experienced machinists to learn machine setup, operation, and quality control. We're looking for someone mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn a skilled trade.
Responsibilities:
- Learn to set up and operate CNC machines under supervision
- Assist with routine machine maintenance
- Learn to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Learn to adjust machine settings for accuracy
- Perform basic quality checks on finished parts
- Assist experienced machinists with troubleshooting
