Warehouse Assistant

About the Role:

The Warehouse Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the shipping and receiving processes. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring that all products are stored and organized efficiently. The Warehouse Assistant will operate various equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to facilitate the movement of goods within the warehouse. Attention to detail is essential, as the role involves verifying shipments and conducting regular inventory checks. Ultimately, the Warehouse Assistant contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of the warehouse, supporting the company's commitment to timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move products within the warehouse.
