Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Sales Representative opportunity, located in the Mesa, Arizona with training provided. In this position, the representative engages with employers and employees to explain Colonial Life’s insurance offerings, answer questions, and help individuals select appropriate coverage options. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and developing new business, conducting benefits consultations, supporting enrollment activities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The role also involves following up on leads, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation of benefit programs. Representatives are expected to meet sales goals, uphold regulatory and ethical standards, and provide consistent, high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in Sales, with a focus on meeting or exceeding performance targets.
• Knowledge of products and Insurance Brokerage practices, or willingness to learn through provided training.
• Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and clear communication with diverse clients.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships, network within the Greater Phoenix Area, and present confidently in group and one-on-one settings.
• Motivated, goal-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfort working in a regulated environment and learning applicable state insurance licensing requirements (current license or ability to obtain as required ie.. Life, Health, and Accident ).
• Basic proficiency with digital tools and Microsoft Office or similar applications; ability to learn company systems and enrollment technology.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or prior experience in sales, benefits, or financial services is a plus.
