Radiology - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Cath Lab Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30). Weekend requirements can be discussed with the manager.

We are seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Cath Lab Technician with cardiac catheterization experience. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and be able to support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Participate in the setup and calibration of equipment used in procedures.
• Monitor and assess patients during procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in specialty; 2 years preferred.
• Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred.
• AHA ACLS and BLS certification required; RCIS certification is also preferred.
• Experience in operating and troubleshooting cath lab equipment.
• Nicotine-free; must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
