Associate Director, Technical Product Management

Merck seeks an Associate Director of Technical Product Management to oversee an enterprise integration platform serving health sciences organizations. The role involves developing integration strategies, managing product roadmap and lifecycle, and leveraging modern technologies like MuleSoft and APIs to enhance operational efficiency across global systems.
Responsibilities
- Act as primary product owner for integration platform, managing vision, roadmap, and backlog prioritization
- Develop and execute integration strategy across health sciences systems and SAP ERP implementations
- Lead cross-functional global agile teams implementing platform solutions and digital services
- Evaluate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and blockchain for innovation opportunities
- Develop business cases, investment plans, and manage spend and ROI monitoring for platform investments
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 10+ years in integration leadership, product ownership, and digital product development
- 10+ years building engineering toolsets with automation and self-service capabilities
- 10+ years with API and integration patterns, SOAP/REST standards, and ERP systems
- Experience as product owner or delivery lead on health sciences enterprise application integrations
- Cloud-based API and integration solutions working knowledge
- Business outcomes-driven leadership with ROI and value focus
Compensation: $150,301 - $224,100/yr
