Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (10:00 - 18:30)
Description: 1.1 Cytotechnologist 2.13-week assignment (to begin) 3.Hours: 8 hour shift (preferably 10a-630p to meet department need) 4.Preferable experience with EPIC
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous Charge Experience
- Years of Experience: 2
- Charting System Experience: Required Charting System Name: Epic
- Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
- Certifications: ASCP
- Skills: Ascitic Fluid, Bronchial, Cytolyt, Esophageal, Gastric, PAP, Quality control/quality assurance, Specimen labeling/identification, Spinal, Staining, Thin-Prep, ThinPrep, Urine, EPIC computer skills*, Thin Prep Imaging Skillset*
Travel Compliance
- RTO no more than 3 days and no RTO first or last week of contract
- Less than 2 years exp. accepted
- Must have IL RN license in hand
- Must have IL LPN/LVN license in hand
- Must have IL CNA license in hand
- All allied positions require state or national certification and/or license
- Locals accepted at the same bill rate
- Attach Nursys when submitting (pulled within the last 2 weeks). No license hits allowed
- Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff (IE any University of Chicago location) must be gone 7 months to come back as a traveler
- Use travelers LEGAL FIRST AND LAST NAME when submitting profile. This is a requirement for the background check and badge process
