We are seeking an experienced truck driver with a valid Class A CDL, air brake endorsement, and TWIC card (can be obtained after hire) to transport freight in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will need to have 2 years of commercial driving experience. Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and professionalism. If you are dedicated to providing exceptional service and have the skills to handle various types of cargo, we’d love to hear from you.
- MUST HAVE 2 YEARS + EXPERIENCE
- TRANSPORT OF FREIGHT IN A TIMELY MANNER
- EXPECTED TO PERFORM PRE & POST TRIPS AND RECORD THEM
- EXPECTED TO KEEP UP WITH PAPERWORK FOR HAULS (BOLs, PODs) (THIS IS HOW WE ALL GET PAID)
- MUST COMPLY WITH ELD
- KEEP UP WITH VEHICLE MAINTENANCE FOR SAFETY
- EXPECTED TO SHOW UP IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER (PPE , NO CROCKS/SANDALS)
- MUST KNOW HOW TO USE CHAINS, BINDERS, STRAPS & TARPS ETC.
- MUST KNOW HOW TO OPERATE MACHINERY (TRACTORS, FORKLIFTS ETC)
- MUST OBTAIN A TWIC CARD FOR PORT LOADS (WILL BE REIMBURSED UPON HIRE)
- MUST BE WILLING TO STAY OUT OVERNIGHT 1-2 NIGHTS A WEEK MAYBE MORE. (IF NO APU IN VEHICLE THAN A ROOM WILL BE PROVIDED OUR EXPENSE.)
- OFF ON WEEKENDS AND MOST HOLIDAYS.
- AFTER 90 DAYS WILL BE RE-EVALUATED
