**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** **Job Title:** Registrar **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Shift** : Mon-Fri, day shift **Location** : Holy Cross Health Center - Kensington **Position Purpose** The registrar is responsible for servicing all areas and completing all tasks related to the front desk area of a physician practice. As client facing professionals, this position plays a key role in representing the practice in the community. **As a Registrar, you will:** + Serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts. + Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. + Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges, controlling credit extended to patients, and filing, collecting, and expediting third-party claims. + Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information. + Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent (required) + 1+ year of physician office experience (preferred) **Pay Range** : + $17.65 - $22.71 per hour + Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
