Bilingual Procurement Specialist

HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with a construction and engineering services company to fill the position of Bilingual Procurement Specialist . This role will support day-to-day purchasing and supplier coordination activities, working closely with internal project teams and overseas vendors to ensure materials and services are procured accurately and on time.

• Support procurement activities for construction and engineering projects, including purchase order creation, tracking, and follow-up.
• Coordinate with domestic and overseas suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
• Communicate with vendors and internal project teams regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and supplier files.
• Assist with sourcing new vendors and collecting and comparing quotes to support purchasing decisions.
• Work closely with engineering, project management, operations, and accounting teams to align procurement needs with project timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning as needed.
• Support basic contract documentation and ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures.
• Assist with resolving delivery issues, discrepancies, or invoice-related questions.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support related to procurement and supply chain operations.

• Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of procurement, purchasing, or administrative experience preferred (open to strong entry-level candidates).
• Experience supporting construction, engineering, or project-based environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills, especially in a cross-cultural environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ERP system experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site setting.
• Comfortable working fully on-site during standard business hours.
