Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our collaborative medical group in San Diego, CA. Are you ready to take your career to the next level in one of the most desirable cities in the country?

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is a large, physician-led, multi-specialty group that offers patients convenient, coordinated, and integrated care. Ophthalmology services are offered at seven site locations, and the group provides patients a full range of services across 29 different specialties. All clinics have a lead RN, triage RN, LVNs, and a 1:1 Provider/MA ratio plus an operations team. The integrated EMR system allows for seamless communication among group PCP's & specialists. The group has 200+ primary care providers throughout the county with a built-in referral system.

Position details include a 4-day workweek schedule with an average patient load of 23-25 patients per clinic day. The practice will be general ophthalmology patients, with new consults, follow-ups, and office-based surgery/minor procedures. General Ophthalmology call is taken 1 week at a time, about 3-4 weeks/year. The user-friendly work schedule has excellent support staff and a collegial work environment. If a fellow, you will be required to become board certified within the first two years of employment.

Salary range: $350,000-$579,000+. The posted compensation range reflects the anticipated salary or compensation range for this position, as required by applicable state law. Actual total compensation may be higher and can include additional earnings such as productivity incentives, quality and performance bonuses, hospital/call stipends, extra shift pay, and other compensation components, where applicable. Providers may also be eligible for a CME allowance and a comprehensive benefits package. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligible. Full comprehensive benefits package including pension plans and 401K. PAID VACATION, CME and SICK time including annual CME allowance. Shareholder track (2 years for 1.0FTE). PAID MALPRACTICE. EPIC EMR utilized system-wide.
