Job Description:
- Make a meaningful impact in patient care at our community-focused hospital.
- We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Center Nurse with a compassionate approach and keen attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Safe and Compassionate Infusion Therapy
- Administer IV medications and therapies per established standards.
- Monitor patient responses to ensure comfort and safety.


- Coordinate Clinical and Administrative Operations
- Manage scheduling, prior authorizations, and clinical order reviews.
- Maintain effective communication with providers, payers, and care teams.


- Educate and Support Patients and Families
- Provide clear and personalized education about treatment plans.
- Assess patient understanding and document teaching efforts for informed care.


- Ensure Accurate Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in electronic health records and medication logs.
- Follow hospital policies for compliance and accuracy.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing.
- Minimum of two years RN experience required; one year of acute care experience preferred.
- BSN degree is required.
- Current Vermont or multi-state compact Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) certification.

Additional Information:
- This is a day shift position with 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift.
- Our infusion center sees approximately 15-20 patients per day.
- Travelers will start on Wednesdays; during orientation week, only 36 hours are guaranteed due to the midweek start.
- Reliable personal transportation is essential; public transportation services are not available in the area, and travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
