Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Neptune NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location you will serve as a welcoming professional presence for visitors and employees. You will monitor access maintain awareness of security-related activity assist with visitor procedures and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide professional customer service to employees visitors and vendors at a financial institution front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor visitor entry verify identification as required issue visitor credentials and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Answer incoming calls direct guests to appropriate contacts and communicate routine information in a courteous professional manner.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity report unusual or suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
