Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies.FTE: Per Diem .01, Shift: Days, Schedule: 10 hour shifts variable start times with call requirements.Float locations include Tacoma General Auburn Medical Center, Capital Medical Center and Good Samaritan.Position SummaryThe Cardiovascular Technologist III is a crucial role on the MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute team, responsible for providing technical support during a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. In this role, you will ensure quality care, with a focus on the comfort and well-being of patient and family.Responsibilities:Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered NurseMaintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in assigned procedure roomPerform required Cath Lab specific documentationAssemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipmentRequirements:Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or currently enrolled and in second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist programRCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employmentCurrent AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hireNote: All staff have the opportunity and are encouraged to use the Computer Based Cath Lab Orientation 12 week module program as a tool to become registry readyProof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate stateWhy Pulse Heart Institute?Physician-led careProven excellenceComprehensive cardiovascular carePeople-first cultureWell-being and supportPacific Northwest lifestylePay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $47.25 - $78.09 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
