Sentara Health is hiring an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to work part time days at Sentara RMH Medical Sentara in Central Testing. (the site is open from 0600-1800)

Overview

As a phlebotomist-clinical lab assistant the duties are to perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Collects labels and processes patient specimens for testing. Responsible for registration and test data entry. Monitors supply levels.

Education

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
• Phlebotomy course (preferred)

Certification/Licensure

• Phlebotomy certification (Preferred)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Experience

• 1 year of experience (preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages inclusive of base pay incentives and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $19.88 - $29.43 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials on-call pay overtime shift premiums extra-shift incentives or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications experience location market conditions and business needs.
