Job Overview Physical Therapy – Acute Care at Providence Portland Medical Center – Full‑time, Day schedule. Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 for eligible rehires and external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions of payment. Responsibilities The Physical Therapist manages and provides skilled physical therapy to patients and clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age‑related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with the individual functional level and potential. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program Master’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited Physical Therapy program Oregon Physical Therapist License upon hire License in states wherever care is delivered National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire Coursework/Training: specialized physical therapy training or experience may be required for specific department needs Benefits Free, convenient, and ample parking TriMet annual pass (Hop Fastpass) for benefit‑eligible staff within the Portland Service Area Medical Plan Assistance Program providing free or reduced‑cost coverage for caregivers and eligible dependents Tuition Reimbursement/Education: up to $5,250 per year for select undergraduate and master’s degrees within the Guild catalog; required books and fees fully covered for selected schools Paid Time Off: up to 25 days per year for benefit‑eligible caregivers Retirement: employer match and discretionary contributions to a 401(k) plan Lyra Caregiver Assistance Program: up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year Location & Compensation Providence Portland Medical Center – 4805 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR. Pay range: $49.65 – $77.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
