Job DescriptionMonday-Friday 7am-4pm, No nights or weekends\nSign-on bonus available\n\nCome join Tidewater Orthopaedic's team of professionals, where we collaborate with physicians and patients to develop an effective treatment plan that promotes wellness and restoration. Tidewater Orthopaedic's Physical Therapy department is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Physical Therapist at our Hampton location to treat a full range of pre- and post-operative orthopedic diagnoses. Preferred candidates are experienced in the outpatient orthopedic setting and familiar with compliant billing practices. Candidates can expect a challenging but fulfilling patient mix, treating approx. As a Licensed Therapist with Tidewater Orthopaedics, you can expect to work closely with your patient's referring physician, collaborating on the most optimal treatment plan.\n\nResponsibilities / Accountability:\n\n Provide direct patient care\n Compliant billing practices, adhering to all applicable rules and regulations.\n Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Techs\n Implement and communicating therapy recommendations, plans and goals\n Communicate and document treatment/discharge notes within the expected timeframe and format\n Act with professionalism and courtesy\n Adhere to all practice-specific policies and procedures\n Maintain a valid state PT license, CEU's, CPR certification and other credenitaling requirements as needed.\n\nEducation Level:\n\n Bachelor's, Master's or Doctor's degree of an accredited physical therapy curriculum\n Certification in Physical Therapy and valid state license to practice\n Valid CPR certification\n\nSkills Required:\nTime management, effective written and oral communication, ability to work independently or with a team, problem solving, planning, organizing.\nPhysical Demand:\nFrequent standing, walking and sitting. Ability to pull, lift, carry and push greater than 150lbs. Frequent stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing and balancing. 95% of work will be performed inside with noise and/or vibrations. No extreme heat, cold, wet or humid work environment.
