SVP of Finance

VP of Finance | Nashville, TN

We're partnering with a rapidly growing real estate and property management organization to identify an experienced Vice President of Finance . This executive will lead the company's finance and accounting function, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive strategy, improve financial performance, and support continued growth across a multi-property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership across accounting, FP&A, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, corporate and property-level accounting, and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Develop financial models, cash flow forecasts, and capital planning to support business initiatives and portfolio growth.
• Partner with operations and executive leadership to analyze property performance, profitability, and investment opportunities.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including process improvements, system implementations, and automation.
• Manage and develop a high-performing accounting and finance team while strengthening internal controls and reporting processes.
• Support acquisitions, due diligence, investor reporting, and long-term strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within real estate, multifamily, or property management.
• Strong background in FP&A, corporate accounting, financial modeling, and multi-site operations.
• Experience with ERP and property management accounting systems; Sage Intacct experience is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership, drive operational improvements, and build scalable finance organizations.
