Pharmacist in Retail Pharmacy | Newark, Ohio

A retail pharmacist position is available for a contract assignment starting ASAP with a 13-week duration. This role focuses on providing pharmaceutical services in a retail pharmacy environment.


Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Manage inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as part of a varied shift schedule.
• Utilize pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and maintain patient records.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of current retail-based pharmacy experience.
• Vaccination certification required at the time of application.
• Experience with RX30 pharmacy system is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Newark, Ohio


Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• Varied shifts including weekends and holidays rotation
