Licensed Outpatient Therapist

Hourly Wage Estimate $31.10 - $43.54 per hour Job Summary The Mental Health Professional II provides patient-focused care by delivering supervised mental health services to patients and their loved ones. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering psycho-education, leading process groups, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapeutic counseling sessions using evidence-based interventions in one-on-one, family, and group therapy. Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one, group, and family psychoeducational and process groups. Develop treatment plans and attend treatment planning meetings and reviews on an ongoing basis. Assess environment and patient safety status, and report/respond to actual and potential safety issues or changes in patient condition. Identify risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for patients with special precautions (e.g., suicide, homicide, falls, elopement). Complete assessments, group notes, and all other documentation promptly and in compliance with requirements, as appropriate to scope. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to assess and coordinate patients’ discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge. Conduct post-discharge follow-up as indicated. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Master’s Degree. No Travel Required No travel is required for this position.
