Take on an impactful role supporting a young student in a specialized school environment as a dedicated Registered Nurse. This position calls for an experienced healthcare professional to provide one-on-one care for a 3-year-old with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD). The assignment runs from January 4, 2026, to June 24, 2027, for approximately 35 hours per week, following a daily onsite schedule of 8am to 3pm.

Skills and Experience Desired:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Prior experience in school nursing and direct pediatric care
• Proven competence supporting medically fragile, non-ambulatory, and non-verbal children
• Familiarity with NG-tube management (no G-tube required)
• Capable of safely lifting and transporting a 24-pound child and utilizing medical equipment such as a stander and gait-trainer
• Ability to work as an attentive, compassionate, and reliable resource within a school setting
• Willingness to provide bus support for the student as needed

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversight of the student’s daily healthcare needs and continuous monitoring of medical status
• Administration of medications and feedings via NG-tube
• Safe positioning, lifting, and mobility support throughout school hours
• Clear documentation of care, incident reporting, and effective coordination with educators and healthcare providers
• Accompanying the student to and from school on the bus, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times
• Maintaining a positive, nurturing presence that honors the unique needs of the student
