Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) to perform echocardiographic procedures on adult patients, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult echocardiography and be familiar with various techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) for both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Conduct Adult Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) including high-level disinfection of TEE probes.
• Utilize ultrasound contrast and agitated saline as needed.
• Implement Adult Stress Echocardiography (STE) procedures.
• Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled, including night shifts and weekend coverage approximately every fifth weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited Cardiac Diagnostic Sonography program.
• Registry-eligible for Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS.
• RCS Certification eligible through CCI.
• Experience in adult echocardiography procedures, including TTE, TEE, and stress echocardiography.
