Employment Type Full-time Requirements Education: Recent graduate from an accredited Dental Assistant program. Soft Skills: A vibrant, friendly, and positive attitude with a natural knack for connecting with children and easing their anxieties. Teamwork: Strong interpersonal communication skills and an eagerness to learn from senior dental professionals. Location: Ability to reliably commute to our beautiful facility at 7250 Red Bug Lake Road, Oviedo, FL. Job Description Behavior Guidance: Employ compassionate child-management techniques to keep young patients relaxed, cooperative, and comfortable during visits. Preventative Care: Efficiently and accurately apply dental sealants and assist with routine pediatric cleanings. Advanced Pediatric Assisting: Provide seamless chairside support during specialized procedures, including stainless steel crowns (SSCs), pulpotomies, and space maintainer placements. Family Communication: Clearly and warmly educate parents on their child's treatment plans, progress, and optimal oral hygiene habits at home. Clinical Setup: Maintain sterilization, prepare operatory rooms, and ensure compliance with all pediatric dental safety protocols.
