Junior Executive - Regular (OBC)

Indian Institute of Management Nagpur is looking for a qualified & experienced Junior Executive. The candidate will be responsible for general administrative duties as assigned by the Institute from time to time. Position Junior Executive – Regular (OBC) Required Qualification And Experience Applicant should have at least a Graduation degree, while those with a Master’s degree will be preferred. Post-qualification experience of a minimum of 3 years in academic/administrative activities, preferably in student affairs-related domains. Hands-on experience working on the MS Office Suite. Related certification will be preferred. Experience of working at IIMs/IITs/NITs or any other premier educational institution will be an added advantage. Key Skills & Capabilities Strong organisational, coordination and stakeholder-management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and service-oriented approach. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving, decision-making and attention to detail. Strong documentation, reporting, confidentiality and professional integrity. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential. Job Responsibilities The responsibilities outlined below are indicative and are not exhaustive. The incumbent may be assigned additional or different responsibilities from time to time, based on the evolving requirements and priorities of the Institute. Manage day-to-day administrative and operational activities, including Hostels, Canteen, Sports Complex and Health Centre. Coordinate student-related services including scholarships, bona fide certificates, medical insurance and emergency support. Plan and coordinate student clubs, committees, institutional events and other academic activities. Prepare and process administrative proposals, sanction notes, approvals, budgets, bills and related documentation. Manage vendor/service-provider contracts, licences, compliance requirements and outsourced services.Coordinate with internal departments, government authorities and external stakeholders for the timely execution of activities and statutory requirements. Monitor service quality, operational expenditure, compliance and resolution of administrative issues. Maintain official records, correspondence and institutional documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and proper record-keeping. Prepare MIS reports, statements, presentations and management information; coordinate meetings, minutes and follow-up actions. Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements in processes and service delivery, along with any other responsibilities assigned by the Competent Authority. Age Not exceeding 35 years as on the last date of application. Salary & Benefits The selected candidate will be offered a Regular appointment at the appropriate pay level as per the 7th Pay Commission and in accordance with the norms of the Institute, with an initial probation period of 2 years. In addition, the perks & allowances will be paid as per the Institute’s norms. The decision of the Appointing Authority will be final & blowing in this regard.
