Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team in St. Louis, MO (63129). In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of diesel engines and equipment, providing top-notch service to our clients on the go. If you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and related equipment.
- Respond to service calls and perform repairs at customer locations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
