Respiratory Care Practitioner II

Role: Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner Responsibilities Include Providing high-quality respiratory care and diagnostic services to inpatients and outpatients Assessing patients, performing diagnostic tests, and delivering respiratory treatments Supporting airway management, ventilation, and secretion removal Calibrating and maintaining respiratory equipment Assisting with patient transport, discharge planning, and education Participating in clinical rounds, emergency response teams, and specialized testing such as pulmonary diagnostics and EEG Documenting care accurately in electronic records Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Practitioner program Associate's degree required; BS/BA preferred Active Maryland license and NBRC registration Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications (ACLS within six months) Strong knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic procedures Proficiency with respiratory equipment and troubleshooting Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Proficiency in Microsoft Word Additional Details Support for pulmonary rehabilitation, diagnostics, and neurodiagnostic testing as needed Ability to collaborate with healthcare team and contribute to patient care plans Commitment to a diverse, inclusive, and patient-centered environment #J-18808-Ljbffr The VIOS Clinic
