# Restaurant AssociateApplylocations: Springfield, Massachusettstime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R43523Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, and home to Baystate Medical Center is looking for a full-time Restaurant Associate to join our team in Springfield, MA.**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:*** Team oriented* Peer support* Fast-paced work environment**SCHEDULE:*** Full-time, 40 hours/week* Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm and 10am-7pm, rotating weekends and holiday**s****LOCATION**:* Baystate Medical Center* Springfield, MA**JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Serving customers at various stations such as Deli, Steam/Sautee Station, Salads, Grill, Coffee Station, Prep and Cashiering.* Preparation of food items such as; slicing, dicing and mixing of various food items. Utilizing industrial equipment such as; meat slicer, buffalo mixer, food processors and knives of all sizes and shapes.* Maintains neat and clean uniform and adheres to hair and facial hair restraints according to departmental and the health department standards. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.
