This role exists to move leaders beyond having data to acting on insight—integrating high‑quality analytics, strong sense-making, and influential consulting to shape enterprise decisions that affect our candidates, employees, and patients around the world.This role is a great fit if youEnjoy operating at the intersection of analytics, psychology, and influence.Care as much about asking the right question as producing analysis.Are energized by influencing high‑stakes decisions.Value rigor, ethical data use, and clear thinking.Want your work to shape how a global company invests in and supports people.Responsibilities:Foster relationships with leaders, HR business partners, and other stakeholders to understand and best address questions that can be informed by analyses of our people data.Pull relevant data from our systems or other sources and ensure data accuracy.Formulate and run appropriate analyses to answer stakeholders’ key questions.Draw accurate conclusions from analyses, distill insights into deliverables, and communicate your findings to stakeholders.Design and administer surveys, consulting on the measurement of employee experiences and sentiments, and advising partners on the use of HR data.Wrangle new data sources into our database and work with the technical team to create insightful new dashboards.The proportion of the role focused on analyses or presenting will vary depending on the interests and skills of the candidate.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and Six Years' ExperienceORMasters' Degree and Four Years' ExperienceORPhD and Two Years' ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience with Excel, R/Python, SQL, PowerBI, or Tableau is desired.People Leader Accountabilities: •Create Inclusion - knowing the business value of diverse teams, modeling inclusion, and embedding the value of diversity in the way they manage their teams. •Develop Talent - understand the skills, experience, aspirations and potential of their employees and coach them on current performance and future potential. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
