Senior Test Automation Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer in Irving, TX. Duties:
- Identify business and technical risks and contribute to requirements and user story development
- Develop, review, and maintain test cases, test plans, and overall testing strategies
- Design, build, and enhance automated testing frameworks and improve automated test coverage
- Perform functional, web, integration, and performance testing throughout the software development lifecycle
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
- Apply testing methodologies and best practices to improve application quality and testability
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Troubleshoot quality issues and continuously improve testing processes and standards
- 6+ years of experience in QA automation, including experience developing automation frameworks
- Experience with test automation and performance testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Karate, JMeter, or similar technologies
- Experience with modern application technologies, cloud platforms, and databases
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Java, or C#
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins or similar platforms
- Familiarity with TDD, BDD, Gherkin, or related testing practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
