Key Responsibilities

• Deliver age-specific, direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in an emergency room setting
• Provide nursing care in accordance with Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards of Patient Care
• Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other levels of staff
• Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active ACLS certification
• Active BLS certification
• Active TNCC certification
• Active PALS or ENPC certification
• Active NRP certification and de-escalation training required; a renewal plan must be in place for any certifications not active prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an emergency room or acute care nursing environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and delegate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
