Material Handler2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) - 5 days on 2 days off (Set schedule- 2 days off may be during the week)Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to perform general labor in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the aviation account, with a strong preference for candidates with a warehouse logistics background, ideally within the aviation industry.ResponsibilitiesPull parts based on aviation and airport part numbers.Wrap products carefully using different techniques and adhesives.Conduct cycle counting and process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.Review part numbers and ensure item numbers match before shipping.Stage items for shipping and perform packing and shipping tasks.Print shipping labels and operate FedEx and UPS programs.Work between a desk with dual screens and the warehouse.Put items back into stock and process returns using the portal during night shifts.Essential SkillsExperience in aviation, warehouse, or auto parts.Proficiency with computer skills, especially emails in Outlook.Forklift operation and inventory management.Knowledge of aircraft parts, picking, and packing.Shipping and receiving experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsAerospace exp in logistics is strongly preferred.Previous parts experience in aviation or automotive.Attention to detail and previous shipping experience.Previous experience at companies like Airbus, Gulfstream, Pratt, Bombardier, Frontier is ideal.1-2 years of recent logistics experience within an aviation company preferred.Experience with pulling and picking parts.Experience with 8130's or traceability documents is a plus.Understanding of specific SAP software, ERP experience, and Outlook.Hazmat training.Previous forklift experience is a plus, required for higher pay tier.Why Work Here?This position offers a temp-to-perm opportunity to work for a reputable logistics company supporting a major aviation account. Training occurs during the day, and shifts are as follows: 1st shift (6 am - 2:30 pm), 2nd shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm), and 3rd shift (10 pm - 6:30 am). The team consists of 50-100 members per shift, and the attire includes shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of LAKE CLARKE, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
