Additional responsibilities include managing supplies, overseeing meal schedules, and effectively interacting with donors and volunteers. Position may from time to time be stressful and require a high demand of performance. May perform other duties as assigned.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPrepares daily activity reportCompletes initial participant intake paperworkConducts hourly rounds ensuring safety of participants, security of facility, and corresponding documentationSubmits listing of items for procurement as neededEnsures sanitation of facilitySets up and monitors daily mealsCompletes check-out process with participants ensuring program equipment, tools, and check-out paperwork are returnedMay drive agency or personal vehicle on company businessMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSSuitable work experience may be considered as transferable skills in order to meet minimum requirements of the position and will be considered by the Executive Director of Human Resources.High School Diploma or GEDProven skills utilizing Microsoft Office SuiteProven strong communication skills - oral and written are clear, concise, and in an organized fashion using appropriate style, grammar, and toneAbility to obtain First Aid and CPR certificationREGULATORYMust be at least 18 years of ageValid driver license, proof of insurance, and 39-month motor vehicle reportAbility to obtain and maintain Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and FBI National Criminal Records History Report (employer paid)Pass pre-employment drug screen (incudes marijuana, regardless of recreational use laws) (employer paid)TB screening DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSAssociate 's Degree in related fieldAdditional years of directly-related experienceBilingual in English and Spanish, verbal and writtenPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTSPosition requires extended periods of sitting and standingPosition requires regular bending and reaching, including transfer of guestsMust be able to lift, carry, and push 20 pounds on a regular basisMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an occasional basisComfortable in handling competing priorities in an occasionally high-stress environmentThe above statement reflects the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job.We are an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer for all individuals.
