Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele FloatWe are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Float Nurse. This position will involve working across various units to meet the needs of the institution, providing care for a diverse patient population ranging from ER boarded patients to telemetry and medical-surgical care.Key ResponsibilitiesFloat across multiple units, providing comprehensive nursing care as needed.Maintain patient safety and confidentiality while delivering high-quality nursing care.Manage patient assessments, create care plans, and implement interventions.Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient outcomes.Participate in charge nurse responsibilities on smaller units, including staffing management and patient flow coordination.QualificationsCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Charge nurse experience required.Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical settings preferred.Must have experience working as a nurse in the United States; Canadian experience is not accepted.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including night shifts.Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with EPIC preferred.ScheduleThis position operates on a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. The nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 1:6, depending on unit acuity.Additional InformationWe value teamwork and collaboration.
