About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS (must be AHA) Must-Have: - Med/surg experience preferred - Overall rating of at least 3.2 on skills checklist Description: Provides healthcare services in a medical/surgical unit. Offers comprehensive care for a variety of patient conditions. Cares for patients with diagnoses such as cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF. Works in a facility that has a diverse patient population including adults 18 years and older. Utilizes various medical equipment such as vital sign machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, and lifts. Experience with Oncology is beneficial but not required. Expected patient care ratios are 1:5 to 1:6. Fosters a collaborative environment with a dedicated healthcare team. Encourages continued education and professional development. Provides support and guidance to nursing staff as needed.
