Director Of Nursing (Don)We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations for a skilled nursing community near the Godfrey IL area. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong clinical team performance.Position SummaryThe Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all nursing services in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and standards of care. The DON partners closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive clinical excellence and positive outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and oversight of all nursing services and clinical programsEnsure compliance with state and federal regulations, including survey readinessDevelop, implement, and monitor clinical policies and proceduresLead, mentor, and develop nursing leadership and staffOversee staffing, scheduling, and performance managementMonitor quality measures, infection control, and risk management initiativesCollaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team membersPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered careQualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of IllinoisProven experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing or long-term care settingStrong knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey processesDemonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to lead teams, manage change, and drive clinical qualityWhat We OfferCompetitive compensationSupportive leadership and resourcesOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident care and staff development
