Project Coordinator - OER

Job Description

We're partnering with the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources to find a detail-driven Energy Project Coordinator to help develop and manage clean energy projects from concept through implementation, while supporting the outreach, communications, and programmatic efforts of a statewide Lead by Example initiative.

Pay & Job Highlights
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Location: Providence, RI

Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator:

Lead outreach and communications efforts, including developing outreach materials, coordinating and leading stakeholder meetings, and contributing to program reports, data visualizations, and public communications.
Manage active clean energy installation projects, including running weekly project meetings, tracking deliverables and timelines, and coordinating contracts, purchase orders, MOUs, and other key project documents with customers and contractors.
Coordinate program initiatives and public engagement, including scheduling stakeholder meetings, representing the program at public events (home shows, conventions, expos), and conducting occasional site visits to check on project progress.
Tabulate, analyze, and distribute program data to support outcomes and successful project delivery, and take on additional program support tasks as needed.

Qualifications of the Project Coordinator:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or comparable experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong track record leading meetings and communicating with the public, backed by exceptional organizational skills and advanced writing/editorial ability.
Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks against strict deadlines; background in the energy sector or a government environment is a plus.
