About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a group of lenders in the evaluation of loan applications, confirming creditworthiness, and providing guidance to applicants on additional requirements. This role also involves the rejection of loans with clear explanations of deficiencies, as well as the approval of loans and assisting customers with their inquiries. The ideal candidate for this position is expected to have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, be part of a growing, mid-sized institution, and be prepared to make a significant impact. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Commercial Loan Officer, with a proven track record in credit assessment and business development. Leadership experience, a team-first mentality, and the ability to expand client relationships and cross-sell financial products are essential. The role requires a candidate who is familiar with the sales, commercial loan processing, and closing processes, and who can multitask effectively. Good communication skills are also a key requirement for this position.
