Material Control Clerk

divh2Material Control Clerk/h2pAt IAP LLC, the Material Control Clerk is responsible for loading and unloading delivery trucks, pulling parts for pick lists, assisting in shipping of parts for customers, and maintaining warehouse in a neat and orderly manner./ppEssential Duties:/pulliLoad and unload trucks./liliPull parts from pick lists for shops./liliReceive parts and accessories and verify packing lists./liliNote any damages, shortages, and overages on shipping documents./liliStock warehouse shelves and maintains accountability for accessory and repair parts./liliBreak down shipping containers and prepare containers for return in accordance with client instructions./liliAssist in conducting inventories./liliMaintain warehouse in a neat, clean, and orderly manner./liliMaintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety./liliPerform other duties as assigned./liliShift: Volvo Clerks Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, All other Clerks Monday Friday 6:30am 3:00pm with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed/li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED OR 1+ year work experience with no more than 2 employers/liliValid US Drivers License/liliObtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security/liliDrive both automatic and straight shift vehicles/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliForklift certification/liliWorking knowledge of business math/liliBasic computer knowledge and experience with parts inventory control/liliAbility to communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions/liliMust possess problem-solving abilities and be detail oriented/liliMust have reliable transportation to and from work./li/ulpPhysical Working Attributes:/pulliLift, push, and or pull up to 50lbs/liliOperate a forklift/liliExposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects, and other conditions which may exist from time to time./liliWork performed in an open warehouse environment with no air conditioning and minimal heating./liliModerate noise level./li/ulpNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
