Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to high-risk mothers and newborns in a Level III Perinatal Center within a teaching hospital setting. The RN will be responsible for supporting obstetric and neonatal patients through various high-risk scenarios, including placenta accreta, tubal ligation, hysterectomies, and C-section deliveries, among others.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Must have Level III Perinatal Care Experience
  • 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics
  • Certifications: BLS, NRP, FHM
  • Education: Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Ability to perform fetal monitoring, maternal assessments/interventions, and assist with c-section procedures
  • Knowledge of high-risk maternal and neonatal care, OB triage, postpartum nursing, and labor support
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting high-risk pregnancies and neonatal care in a Level III Perinatal Center
  • Ability to assist with circulating c-sections and OB procedures

Additional Information:

• Will be trained on site with orientation sessions, including onboarding, preceptor training, and buddy assignment.
• No set schedule; flexibility required to work as needed, including every other weekend and holidays.
• Travelers will float to different units as needed, with initial training provided on the first few days.
• Scrub color and parking are provided at no cost.
