Job Overview
Sign-on Bonus Available
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be tasked with:
- Conducting patient evaluations and assessments.
- Implementing general respiratory care procedures and protocols.
- Performing critical care procedures in adult patient settings.
- Executing blood gas analyses.
- Overseeing the maintenance and management of all relevant equipment.
- Providing education to patients regarding their care.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
- An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
Minimum Experience Required:
- Prior experience in respiratory care, or successful completion of a department-specific orientation that includes validation of skills and competencies for this role.
Licensure and Certification Requirements:
- Must be registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Licensed by the State of Georgia through the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
Additional Qualifications:
- Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Must actively practice and maintain all necessary competencies.
